IP camera as system camera for SIP video calls
This configuration guide explains how to set up an IP camera as a system camera for your Behnke-Station.
By integrating an IP camera as a system camera, your Behnke station can transmit the camera image to the remote party during calls.
It is assumed that the Behnke-Station is already set up to the extent that access to the web interface is possible. If this is not the case, please follow the instructions provided with your base electronics (manuals) and refer to the technical manual to complete the basic setup.
1. Connection Notes and Technical Requirements
- The camera must be reachable by the Behnke-Station within the network
- Alternatively, the camera can be connected directly to the extension port or USB extension port of the Behnke station
- A maximum of one camera can be integrated a system camera
- The camera must provide an MJPG stream via HTTP that can be accessed by the Behnke-Station
2. Configuration of the Behnke-Station
- Open your browser
- Access the web interface of the Behnke-Station
- Log in

- Click on

- Scroll down to the section IP camera

- Set the option Integration to the value manual definition
- Set the option Type to the camera type you want to connect
- Set the option Username and Password to the required values for the camera
- Set the option Integration as to the value system camera
- Set the option Force integration to the value no unless you already have an USB-camera
- Press
to save the configuration

- The device will be restarted
- Please wait until the device is reachable again
- Log in
- You should now see the menu item

- If the menu item is not visible, re-do the steps before
- Click on

- There you can see the video and configure the camera and other settings
