Boot loop

If your Behnke Station is stuck in a boot loop, e.g. due to a defective configuration, you will have to reset the device to the factory settings. How to do this is described below.

1. Resetting the Behnke Station to factory settings

In order to perform the reset you will have to use the configuration button on the back of the Behnke Station. You can find the configuration button on the bottom left on the back of the electronics box, next to the status LED:

Configuration button

  • First disconnect the Behnke Station from its power supply by removing the ethernet cable, respectively the PoE supply.

  • Then wait a few seconds and press and hold the configuration button while reconnecting the ethernet cable, respectively the PoE supply. Please keep pressing the button.

  • At first the status LED will glow red. After a few seconds the color will change to purple (the color may almost seem white). Then release the button and press it twice in quick succession.

  • The reset is carried out. The voice announcement with the IP address indicates that the reset ist done and your Behnke Station is operational again.
