Help for AGFEO® ES 516
1. Setup guide
This setup guide describes how to put a Behnke Station into operation as a SIP extension on an AGFEO® ES 516 telephone system. In the following, we assume that the basic configuration of the AGFEO® ES 516 telephone system has already been completed, and we limit ourselves exclusively to the steps required to put the Behnke Station into operation.
It is assumed that the Behnke-Station is already set up to the extent that access to the web interface is possible. If this is not the case, please follow the instructions provided with your base electronics (manuals) and refer to the technical manualRecently updated — within the last 72 hours to complete the basic setup.

-
Make a note of the numbers for the buttons of the Behnke Station. These are needed in the next step.

2. FAQ
There is a problem with communication:
- poor/tinny voice quality
- what is said outside cannot be heard inside
- when someone speaks outside, you hear yourself through the loudspeaker
- In the AGFEO® system, as a test, please tick Always set up voice path via the system in the Device settings for the SIP extension of the Behnke Station. This setting is recommended for all extensions that are not system terminals. Alternatively, the Behnke Station can simply be set up as a SIP-TFE on the system (see the setup guide above).

There may be a problem with the audio codecs. As a test, please click the menu item SIP Phone in the left sidebar and, in the section Voice codecs, allow only one codec or, if necessary, try different codecs one after another. There are known cases in which only G.726 could be used, and other cases in which one of the two G.711 variants had to be selected.

When using a remote device with video display (e.g. Gigaset® Maxwell 4, Maxwell 10, Auerswald® COMfortel® or a bintec-elmeg® device), the video image is not displayed when the Behnke Station calls.
The Behnke Station is set up on the system as a SIP-TFE. All communication then runs via the telephone system (both SIP and RTP with audio). In the SIP INVITE to the remote device, the system replaces the phone number of the Behnke Station with a different number. If the phone number of the Behnke Station is entered as the SIP ID in the terminal device, the call can therefore not be matched, and the terminal device does not retrieve the video. First you need to find out which number the bell button has on the system. Each call button of the Behnke Station is assigned a number (by default 80 for call button 1, 81 for button 2, etc.). In the remote device, the SIP ID to enter is then not the phone number of the Behnke Station but 23. So if the button has the number 80 on the system, you must enter 2380 here.
