Connection indication at the push of a specific button
If the operating mode of one of the two relays is set to "connection indication", the relay is active while a call is being established. This function can be used, for example, to activate a door chime/bell while the call is being set up. By default it doesn't matter which key is used to trigger the call. The relay is always activated. However, it is also possible to activate the relay only when a specific call button is pressed. This is described below. The function is implemented here with relay 2, since relay 1 is usually used as a door opener relay. However, the settings shown can simply be adopted for relay 1 if you want to use this relay instead.
1. Configuring the relay
Switch to the "Relays" menu item on the web interface. Scroll down to the "Relay 2" section, make the following settings there and then click "Save":
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Operation mode | connection indication |
| Activate while incoming connection | no |
| Activate when outgoing connection | no |

2. Configuring the button
Go to "Buttons" in the menu on the left. Enter the following code in the "Number" field for the button with which the connection indication is to be triggered:
cmd:on<Number of the relay>/off<Number of the relay>;<Call number>
If relay 2 is to be used, for example:
cmd:on2/off2;102

This completes the setup. If you now press your configured button on the Behnke Station, relay 2 is activated and then the stored phone number is called. After picking up on the remote station the relay is deactivated again.
